Kricket

This is my brother and sister-in-law's dog, Kricket. She is such a sweetheart. Joel and I fell in love with her when we went home to Michigan for a vacation. Joel loved to go outside and run around the yard with her. We miss you, Kricket!!!!

Poochie Bags

The Poochie Bag is another of my favorite projects. A smaller size tote when you don't need that big one. I love to use it when I go to the library for my books.

Snap Happy

I've been making the Snap Happy for a little over a year now. They come in three different sizes: 7 1/2"x6", 6"x5" and 5"x4 1/4". The purse "snaps" closed by using a metal carpenter tape to form a hinge.

Table Topper

This table topper is from This & That Simplicity pattern. I had some leftover charm squares from my table runner that worked perfect for this project. I actually sewed the top twice. The side pieces were short and when I stretched them to fit, of course, the middle puckered. I ran to my "expert", my sister-in-law, and she gave me advice on setting my sewing machine for that scant 1/4" seam. It worked! So here's the finished product and how it looks on our coffee table. I made the arrangement using products from Michael's: treasure chest, flowers and butterflies.

Hot Fingers

The best friend your fingers will ever have! So grasp your cup, pull open that steaming bag of popcorn or grab that baked potato, all without burning your fingers! For Microwave Use Only!

These Hot Fingers are from Susie O. Shore Designs. This pattern was originally published in 1990 and is back by popular demand. These are fun to make. The most difficult part is getting them turned.
